Welcome
to the Vale of Evesham- an area of outstanding
national beauty and probably the most prolific fruit
and vegetable growing area in the country.
Although
appealing at any time of the year, the area is at its
most spectacular in the Spring when the sight of blossoming
fruit trees transform the landscape into a riot of vivid
colour and promises of plentiful summertime harvests.
Blossom
time in the Vale is a short season- dependent on climate,
usually between late March and early May. The blossom
that can be seen first is plum, followed 10-14 days
later by apple.
