Welcome to the Vale of Evesham- an area of outstanding national beauty and probably the most prolific fruit and vegetable growing area in the country.

Although appealing at any time of the year, the area is at its most spectacular in the Spring when the sight of blossoming fruit trees transform the landscape into a riot of vivid colour and promises of plentiful summertime harvests.

Blossom time in the Vale is a short season- dependent on climate, usually between late March and early May. The blossom that can be seen first is plum, followed 10-14 days later by apple.

The Vale of Evesham Spring Blossom Trail has been carefully planned with the assistance of the Automobile Association to guide the visitor through the Vale along routes which give the most scenic and advantageous views of the blossom at its best. The trail follows some of the prettiest roads and lanes in the area with a wealth of pubs and cafes along the route for the thirsty and hungry traveller.
A leaflet showing full details and a route map is available at the Tourist Information Centres at Evesham, Droitwich Spa, Pershore and Broadway.
